Course Information
Description Overview of stage monitor systems. Includes monitor systems set-up and operation and stage management. Also covers interactivity between sound management, performance quality, and audience experience.
Prerequisites Live Sound I-MUSC 1405-01
Learning Outcomes 1. Describe signal flow in sound reinforcement setup. (PLSO 2,3)(PLSO 1,2,3)
2. Explain the function, characteristics, and specifications of the components of a sound reinforcement system. (PLSO 2,3) (PLSO 1,2,3)
3. Identifies all main ideas, supporting details, and vocabulary in reading material; demonstrates a full understanding of the reading (PSLO- Alpha)

Attendance Policy Attendance Policy:
You are given one free absence before your lates/absences start to count against the attendance percentage of your overall grade. After each subsequent absence, 7.5% will be deducted from your attendance grade. Three lates = one absence
Academic Honesty Academic honesty is expected from all students, and dishonesty in any form will not be tolerated. Please consult the LSC-PA policies (Section IX, subsection A, in the Faculty Handbook) for consequences of academic dishonesty.

  2. Only students enrolled in the course are allowed in the classroom, except by special instructor permission.
